PRAYER UNTO THE GOD OF MY LIFE
"Yet the Lord will command his loving kindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life." (NIV) Psalm 42: 8
And as I wake up this morning, I lift up holy hands to you
I magnify thy name Oh ye creator of the heavens.
For I am but a mortal who is relating to an immortal like you.
What do I have to offer you that thou do not already have?
It is but a privilege, an honor made me to commune with such a powerful being like thee
My heart is yours today, and forever more.
I have been torn apart by my disobedience and my unfaithfulness
My dreams were shattered for I trusted in my own thoughts.
My sins stair at me as is my face in a mirror.
Where can I go from thy presence?
Everywhere thou are present. In the mountains, I see your handiwork
The valleys demonstrate your power.
Many are the witnesses that talks of your sovereignty. The whole creation bears witness of your existence.
Who on earth is ignorant of this fact but a fool who says in his heart, thou exist not, mighty one.
My heart is drawn to thee, my soul seeks after thee.That I may see you and experience you from my every passing breathe till the days that thou cease to give me breathe.
For thou oh Lord will command your loving kindness in the daytime, and in the night your song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life. In Jesus name I pray. AMEN!
