If we cannot do anything for the LORD at least, we can make a joyful noise to God. We can let our lives be one full of praises to his name. As I write this message, I have a laptop which for no special reason will not boot properly. Instead of wasting my time to worry over it, I take the opportunity to praise God by penning down His grace towards my life. Usually, when things don’t go the way we want, we tend to give in to anxiety. This anxiety takes away our precious time which we can utilise in exalting God’s name. It brings fear into our hearts and takes away the faith we have in God.
Never allow fear to replace faith in your life. You can very well avoid this if you decide in your heart to enter God’s presence daily with praise. We don’t need to necessarily be in an enclosed room to be before our maker. Instead, wherever we may find ourselves is the best place to surround ourselves with his presence as we thank Him for His unflinching grace and love.
In my daily duties, I made a conscious effort to praise God. I escape from this physical world with my senses all the time so as to praise my Father. You don’t have to always be on the move or chatting all the time whether at school or at work. Take some time off and sing praises to Him in your heart for He is God our maker. We owe Him that!
The Lord inhabits the praises of his people. We therefore get to enjoy his company as we continuously offer our sacrifices of praise to his name. Emmanuel... God is indeed with us!
