DON’T GIVE THE DEVIL ANY CHANCE
"And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God."(NIV) Philippians 1: 9-11
Our journey on earth is full of challenges and this may cause us to be unfaithful to God but amidst all these, we are expected to overcome and stand tall. In our daily activities, we are to live Christ-like lives. Christ was faithful with the task of coming to die to save us (sinners), a task given by the father.We must also live as such.
Whatever we have is a gift from God and we must be faithful as stewards of it. In our marriages, we must decide to be different.
If the whole world is being unfaithful, we as Christians must lead the way of righteousness. We are admonished to live pure and blameless lives.
In all that we do, lets us be faithful to God, knowing that we will surely give account of our stewardship. Let us never give the devil any chance in our marriages, jobs, Christian life etc. to be unfaithful to God. Remember, to whom much is given, much is expected.
Let us continually examine ourselves to see if we are still in the LORD.
