God’s calling is sure!
"For great is your love, reaching to the heavens;your faithfulness reaches to the skies."(NIV) Psalm 57:10
Christians arise and shine! In our ignorance, we have underestimated the power of God and we wallow in misery and poverty. We have become poor Christians by all standards in everything. Our love for God is at a very despicable level and we have lost any form of guidance from the Holy Spirit.
Our unfaithfulness is weighing us down. We have fallen deeply into a pit of sin and we are unable to climb out. But God is a faithful God. His faithfulness is as high as the skies. If we could perceive the height of the skies from the ground, then we would understand the magnitude of his Faithfulness.
No matter the situation that you find yourself in right now, I want you to remember the greatness of the God we serve. He is more than able to deliver us from every condition and make us the people he wants us to be.
He only requires that we believe in his calling, repent of our unfaithfulness and allow him to create in us a new and rightful spirit. A spirit that is faithful in all things at all times (Jesus was faithful to the end, even death on the cross). God’s calling is sure and we can experience this when we turn from our unfaithfulness and develop a spirit that is full of FAITHFULNESS like our God’s.
The sure calling requires faithfulness to God.
