I often zealously read the Bible on daily basis. There is something that pushes me to do that, something I don't understand. It could be when I am going through a hard time or when I need an answer to a problem. At other times, I just don't get that zeal and hence, several days will pass without any Bible study.

0@Joseph, yes I am also motivated to read the bible on daily basis when I am going through tough times. Perhaps because of the assurance the bible gives me. However, it becomes challenging to continue when the problem is somehow solved . i know that is not right though so I keep praying about that.
@Kitkat, just like @abestels, I usually pick a book and read a chapter per day. Sometimes, I use the daily bible verses of Daily Inspirer devotions and meditate on them. -

0Its so hard to read the bible everyday. Because I get up so late in the morning and I have to rush through to get to work. i come back from work and am so tired i just want to rest. there is a plan for me. i plan on studying the book of Romans. to read a chapter a day and I have an electronic study bible to assist me as well but I must confess i have not read much of the chapters in Romans. -

0Thank you for answering.
I would have love to more about how people study their Bible. Do you just read it or do you have a plan, a goal when you read it?
Do you use any materials to guide you?Kitkat wrote:
