SEEK THE LORD, AND HIS STRENGTH
“Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.” (NIV) Psalm 105: 4
My Jesus, Oh how I love you
My heart is filled with Thanksgiving for your presence so great in my life
When I am weak, you have been my strength
You have been and will always be a strong tower,
A tower where I have taken and will always take refuge
My hope looks up to thee oh Lamb of God
For you Oh Lord has been a dependable God to me.
You have shown me favor beyond measure and I know that no matter where I will be or what I will be doing, my heart will always be with you.
For I know thou will be near and proud of me.
Life is full of surprises. One day all will be well and rosy and another day, it is as if nothing is worth living for. But as Christians we have everything to live for. We have God as our father, a mighty fortress we can always rely on. We are blessed and highly favored to be loved dearly by Jesus who is ever willing to do anything and to deliver us from any trouble provided we will call on him for help.
And as dearly beloved of God, he has also given us his spirit which will teach us and guide us to be successful in this perilous world. What else do we want that we cannot get? We just have to decide on what we want and God in his own time will do it according to his will.
As we wait patiently for God to show his glory in our lives, His word says, we should seek the Lord, and his strength. Our priority should be seeking his face forevermore.
