BE A PART OF THE FATHER’S BUSINESS
“Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”"(NIV) Matthew 9:37-38

Our heavenly father’s business is in winning souls. The heart of the people of this world is turned away from God with all its worldly treasures. There is so much sin being committed today such as adultery, fornication, murder, suicide, hatred, greed, the love for money to mention but a few.
Many have turned the lawful sexual needs into unlawful ones as is seen in many countries of today. Countries are endorsing homosexual marriages, something which in the Old Testament brought the wrath of God upon the people that practiced it. Now, these are seen to be normal in this world.
We are the answers to the Masters’ prayer for more labourers. In 1 Cor. 3:9, the bible says we are God’s fellow workers so we have to work to spread the message to every part of the world.
God also makes it clear through his Word that the ministry of reconciliation has been given to us too. We must make ourselves relevant in God’s business in our local church assemblies, setting our gaze on whatever work he has entrusted to us as we give ourselves entirely to be used by Him. That means we must rid ourselves of all the sinful acts in this world which has become acceptable by shameful men as we win souls for God.
Each of us has a role to play; evangelism, prayer, financial support, etc. As we become involved in the Fathers’ business, He will surely reward us no matter how small our effort is. Just get involved because it is the only virtue that saves us from sinning against God.
