"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (NIV) John 8:32

Did you miss What is Truth? (Part I)

Truth tells us how to be saved through His blood! Jesus declared in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, & the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” The terms of pardon have been established by the One who gave His life upon the Cross of Calvary for the sins of the world. Therefore, no earthly person has the authority to change these terms!

In Matthew 28:18, we read, “And Jesus came & spoke unto them, saying, all authority is given unto me in heaven & in earth.” If Jesus has all authority, both in heaven & in the earth, who in this world can take this authority away from Him & enact rules in any religious arena? The fact of the matter is “No One!”

God has already legislated His laws (TRUTH) through His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 1:1, 2). Paul said, “Therefore, let no man beguile (spoil) you through their vain philosophies & their human traditions.” (Colossians 2:8). In other words, don’t be fooled by people who mislead you into believing that you can do whatever pleases you in the religious realm! Jesus said that if anyone loves Him they will show it by keeping His commandments! (John 14:15). Ask yourself these two vital questions, please: (1). What is truth? & (2). Where can truth be obtained? The answer to these two questions will mean the difference between heaven & hell, beloved!

…to be continued.
