My opinion is, there is nothing wrong with being a politician as a christian. However, considering what politicians have been known for-corruption-it is important to distinguish one self as a christian and a politician. You have to stand out and do the right things and if its possible to change things for the better, you just do that. But be aware that bad company corrupts good morals. Be careful or you be dragged down with them.

It not wrong but rather challenging to hold onto your christian virtue in a corrupt economy.
