God has not forgotten you
"And the king said, “What honor and dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?” Then the king’s servants who ministered to him, said, “Nothing has been done for him."(NIV) Esther 6:3
Bible Reading: Esther 6
Many people are getting frustrated in our modern world of iniquities because they are not rewarded or appreciated for the good things they do. Even in the Lord’s church people are looking for instant appreciation and recognition for doing good things for God and humanity but they do not get that. Others are extremely disturbed when they are chastised for doing things that they believed to be pleasing to God. As a result, most Christians are now sitting on the fence when it comes to standing up to occasions to do great things for God and mankind.
Beloved, Jehovah we serve is a fair and just God who does things at the right time. The story of Mordecai in Esther 6 is a good example of the unforgettable nature of God. In the reference, we learn that Mordecai saved King Ahasuerus’s life but his good deed was forgotten for a long time. At the right time, God presented the opportunity for the King to remember Mordecai’s good deed and reward him accordingly. Perhaps you have done wonderful and great things in life but humanity has forgotten about them. I would like to remind you that God has not forgotten and will surely acknowledge your good deed at the right time. So keep up the good work!
