Where do I fit in God’s master plan?
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ” (ESV) Col 3:23-24
Why do we keep struggling to know where we fit in God’s master plan?
To know where we fit in God’s master plan, we need to first of all ask ourselves: what do we have in our hands? God has given each and every one of us gifts. I am not talking about the gifts of the spirit (Corinthians 12:8-10). I am talking about that talent you have and seem not to have any connection with the “church”. For example, your ability to make clothes, style hair, fix broken cars, fix that broken pipe, analyze that environmental situation causing climate change, do research to discover, teach those school children, serve customers, enforce laws, produce food. The list can go on and on. Irrespective of how small or big our talent is, we need to understand that they are the tools God has put in our hands to realize His master plan. Use your tool heartily because that is you helping with the realization of God’s master plan.
