Where are you?

“Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” NIV (Gen. 3:8-9)

Your environment and associations have a huge influence on your success or failure in life. The intention of God when He created mankind was to stay close to us (family) and guide us through life. Unfortunately, from the time of Adam till now, man always decides to run away from God and the results have been a disaster.

We need to bring our families to God’s presence through Christian worship, prayers, devotions, and Bible studies. Satan is always targeting the family system to bring it down into shame and confusion. Exposing your family to God leads to ultimate protection. Commit your family's way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass (Ps 37:5).

No matter how far you and your family have wandered from the Lord, He is still waiting to embrace you and stay with you. Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavily laden, and I will give you rest (Matt. 11:28). There is confusion in the family when we hide our families from God. King Rehoboam lost the kingship when he surrounded himself with people who advised him wrongly (1 Kings 12:8).

As you have been blessed with another beautiful day, decide to commit yourself and your family to the presence of the LORD for ultimate protection and progress.
