Manifest your faith

Written by Dede Abebreser Tsonyake.

"And without faith, it is impossible to please God, because any one who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him." (NIV) Hebrews 11:6

The word faithful comes from two separate words- “faith” and “full”. “FAITH”, in Hebrews 11:1 is defined as being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. “Full”, from the Macmillan English Dictionary, is defined as having or containing a lot of something.

For someone to be faithful means that the person has a lot of certainty of what he does not see-and in this case, the unseen here is God. The belief, trust and loyalty to God though we do not see Him, is the act of being faithful to God.

In Acts 2, when the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit, it manifested for everyone to see. Likewise, to be “full” of “faith”, it must manifest for others to see. It must manifest in our daily relationship with our Maker and fellow humans.

How can you manifest your faithfulness to God? Consider the following areas; evangelizing His word to others as He has directed us to do, showing an act of kindness to another person, praying without ceasing for the welfare of brethren and the church or diligently learning the word of God to teach others, etc.

It is time to examine yourself and identify your manifestation of faith to please your Maker, for the reward is so fulfilling.
