"A man’s gift makes room for him And brings him before great men." (NKJV) Proverbs 18:6

"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you." (NKJV) Luke 6:38

Many of us have been trained as kids to always say a “thank you” when we are helped by someone. The help could be in so many forms; physical and intangible. One of our principles in life is to give off our means when we are given the opportunity (to do good) every time. We have also been given physically and intangibly showing evidently that, the one who gives, is also given.

In showing gratitude, it must not only be in words but in kind. This is the gratitude that has the most lasting impression and paves way for one to be brought before great men! (Proverbs 18:16). Add a gift you can afford to the usual “Thank you” and see if God won’t give it back pressed down, shaken together and flowing over as in Luke 6:38” Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. “For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” (Mathew 7:2)
