Be thankful to Him
“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.” (NIV) Psalm 100:4-5
As the year is about to end, we can only help our heart and soul with a little retrospection of how God has been merciful and also shown His loving-kindness unto us.
Indeed, the Lord has been good to us at the onset of the year till now. Although we may have gone through some challenges; it should not deter us from thanking Him. He expects us to give thanks to Him in all things (I Thessalonians 5:18).
Have you ever thought about how happy the Father is when He receives our thanksgiving? At times, certain Christians or children of God may feel He does not listen to our prayer of thanksgiving. Beloved we should not let that discourage us because of our sinful ways, rather we must do the needful to quit (I John 1:9) so that we can have faith to speak to Him in prayers (I John 5:14) and with confidence.
May God help us to be thankful to Him. Amen!
