For George Beverly Shea to say He’d rather have Jesus than anything the world affords tells us that His hope in eternity is solid grounded. The world’s riches, houses, lands and fame could make one’s life here on earth very comfortable but if they will be a source of sin or lead one to sin, then we must gladly turn them down and hold fast to Jesus because He is our reason for the hope we have. Our hope in Jesus goes beyond this life. It is the hope of eternal life in Him. Nothing can be compared to the hope of sharing eternity with Jesus. It is my prayer that we will set apart Christ as Lord in all that we do. God bless you.
