The Creation of God
"For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.” (NIV) Exodus 20:11
The beginning of the universe is recorded for us in the Bible. Genesis 1 reveals the six days of creation. Exodus 20:11 says, “For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day.”
As we admire the world around us, let us remember who made it. Let us praise the Creator for His magnificent power and intelligence. Let us marvel at His creativity and beauty. Let the beauty of it all draw us closer to Him.
It is the creation that reminds us that God exists. It does not tell us what He wants from us, but it is a great reminder that we are not alone in the universe. He is there for us all, waiting for us to search and find Him.
