Our Talents for Success in Life
“So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags. For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (NIV) Matt. 25:28-30
Every human has been endowed with special gifts or talents. God gave those gifts for you to succeed in life. If you don’t use your talents, you lose them (Matt. 25:28-29). “For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away”. Let us be faithful in using the opportunities for service which the Lord has given us. Remember, diligence is always rewarded, and negligence is will be punished (Matt. 25:30). God does not only require us to be great, but he requires us to be faithful.
