Bible Reading: Psalm 81

There is one type of person that God can not do something for! The person who does not want anything to do with God. God is a God who can perform great things for people. He rescues the helpless, gives hope to the downcast, and provides grace to the broken. All these are so close to people. Except when people say "we just don't want you, God"

Psalm 81 is about the desire for God to rescue people who do that very thing. How do people who once knew the saving power of the Lord come to a place where they don't want anything to do with Him?

Jesus asks his disciples a question: "When the Son of Man returns, will he find faith on the earth?" (Luke 18:8). Only we can make sure that answer is a yes if Jesus were to return in our lifetime.
