“So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus." (NIV) Romans 8:1
As Christians and pilgrims to heaven, we ought to daily examine our lives and be sure we are in the faith. Many at times we forget we are in a battle, a spiritual battle with the forces of darkness. We therefore need to constantly put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).
We need to be in Christ Jesus, clothed by his love. We must also avoid having one foot in Christ and the other in the world. God doesn’t share his glory with anyone. We as Christians show forth His glory and this He won’t share with anyone.
No one can serve two masters, he would love one more than the other. We must make a decision to belong to Christ or to the devil. And as we make our decisions, we must remember that being in Christ means condemnation free.
However, not being condemned is not achieved on a silver platter. One needs to work out his or her salvation with fear and trembling. Beloved Christians in the Lord, the good news about our journey is that we are sure that when we follow our Lord diligently and give our all to him, we won’t be condemned when he comes again.
For those of us who don’t know him, although we have no excuse, Jesus is inviting us again to receive his salvation and avoid being CONDEMNED.
