Life is war

"The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds" (NIV) 2 Corinthians 10:4

War is a state of armed conflict between groups characterized by aggression, destruction and mortality using regular or irregular military forces. Since God created man and woman miraculously, humans have continued to survive by competition against many oppositions. When Israel became a nation in the land of Egypt, God waged a war on Egyptians especially on Pharaoh to liberate the chosen people of God. On their journey through the wilderness to the Promised Land, Israel had to fight a lot of wars. Though Israelites were promised a land, it was not taken easily. Why should a child of God go through challenges? Israel was the only chosen nation by God but still went through many challenges and wars including their passage through the impermeable Jericho. When the Israelites reached the Promised Land, they had to fight other occupants of the land. After that, they had a perpetual mental war on how to maintain a relationship with God.

Physically, we are all fighting a perpetual war for health, wealth, positions and possessions. You need to fight to win in all situations, to maintain your status, to improve your present status and to prevent falling away. For Christians, sin is a constant war we have to fight. Sin is throwing a lot of complex and dangerous missiles from different angles against those who are with God. This is not a carnal fight but spiritual (Eph. 6:10). The enemy or opponent comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10).

Today, are you prepared to face the war against sin and life challenges? The war is already taking and it is up to you to face it. If you are fed up with the war of life, you will surely fade out. The bigger the war, the sweeter the victory and its associated reward it has to offer. Jesus went through a difficult one and made him the King of kings and Lord of Lords. Fortunately for Christians, we have a master commander in chief who has never lost a war. He knows all the equipment, tactics and strategies it takes to conquer everything. Forever he is a winner. Attach yourself to him and be a winner too. >
