A grateful heart
“I give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” (NIV) Psalm 107:1
There is always a reason to be grateful to God no matter the circumstances we face in our lives. However, we allow life’s issues to cloud our minds that we forget God’s loving-kindness towards us. The fact that one particular blessing we are expecting is not forthcoming gets us so depressed we forget to be thankful for other blessings such as the gift of life, the gift of good health, the gift of shelter, the gift of family, the gift of a job and many more.
Anytime life overwhelms you, and you see yourself questioning if God truly cares, remember that it is time to switch into a grateful mood and recount the goodness of the Lord.
